We are seeking a Full Time Verification Officer for our Cork City location to join our team in the critical role of driving licence processing. This position plays a vital part in ensuring road safety by verifying the eligibility of future drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process and manage multiple driving licence applications simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Thoroughly verify and authenticate documents, maintaining the highest standards of diligence and compliance.
- Utilise and maintain proficiency in our Front Office Solutions to process applications effectively.
- Participate in and successfully complete both on-site and virtual training programmes to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Strictly adhere to and uphold the Company's Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct in all aspects of work.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and application of Standard Operating Procedures in daily tasks.
- Promptly identify and report any security or data breaches, maintaining vigilance at all times.
- Be prepared to work at other NDLS Centres as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organisational needs.
- Contribute to weekend operations by working occasional Saturdays as part of the role's requirements.
- Leaving Certificate and/or FETAC 5 skills certificate or greater
- Evidence of customer service experience
- Evidence of compliance and attention to detail
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes/skillsets:
- Dynamic, confident, and motivated individual with a proven track record within the Service Delivery Sector
- Strong customer service focus and experience
- Fluency in both written and oral English – excellent documentation skills required
- Excellent communication skills vital to this role
- Accuracy and attention to detail is critical. Successful candidate should be pro-active, have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under own initiative without regular supervision or as part of a team
- Initiative and excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal skills – able to develop positive working relationships with people at all levels, with SGS colleagues and external clients/customers
- Excellent PC Proficiency and knowledge of MS Office applications
- Full Driving Licence
