Technical Product Sales Manager
FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Product Sales Manager for an established agribusiness in the Southeast. This is a full-time permanent role with flexible hybrid working.
Our client is a leading supplier of dairy farming inputs which includes dairy hygiene , animal health , minerals and vitamins , crop management and farm hardware. The business has a made a huge contribution to dairy farming in the South East and now we are looking to recruit a Product Sales Manager to manage the product strategy and purchasing function while driving commercial growth.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will become part of the senior management team and manage relationships with key suppliers & work closely with the Marketing team.
Other duties to include- Develop and execute purchasing strategies for companies’ product range.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and terms for customers.
- Create technical product documentation and training materials for the sales team.
- Manage monthly product promotions and member communications.
- Oversee the development of the e-commerce business.
- Direct responsibility for annual purchasing budget.
- Monthly reporting on KPI’S including margins , sales growth and member engagement.
- Working closely with the marketing team.
- 5 years commercial experience in the dairy sector.
- Background in technical sales or product development.
- Strong understanding of dairy farm technologies and products.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing.
