We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established family-owned business based in Drogheda, who are expanding their team as the company continues to grow. We are seeking an ambitious, experienced, and motivated Accounts Payable professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.This role suits someone with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Salary & Benefits:
€34,000 DOETraining and support when you start
Duties:
Keep on top of the Accounts Payable inbox and handle supplier invoices, credit notes, and any related queriesMatch invoices with purchase orders and receipts using AP systems, making sure everything is accurate and up to date
Reconcile supplier statements each month and sort out any issues quickly and efficiently
Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries and keep communication clear and positive
Lend a hand with month-end tasks and audits, including credit control and document follow-ups
Help manage cash processes by reconciling tills, checking variances, and preparing lodgements
Skills:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable with strong knowledge of invoice processing and reconciliationSolid understanding of the end-to-end procure-to-pay process
Skilled in accounting systems (ideally Intact IQ) and AP automation tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and Outlook skills
Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
