You will manage payroll operations for Ireland, the UK, Israel, and additional EMEA entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This is a key role within the Global Payroll team, supporting both operational excellence and ongoing payroll transformation initiatives.
The Opportunity:
In this role you will:
- Take full ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across assigned countries.
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly payroll data inputs to outsourced providers.
- Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, compensation updates, and benefits.
- Review and validate payroll drafts, ensuring accuracy before approval and sign-off.
- Manage payroll processing for Ireland (in-house system) and outsourced payrolls for other regions.
- Perform gross-to-net validations, including benefits in kind, deductions, and adjustments.
- Complete monthly payroll reconciliations and control summaries.
- Ensure all payroll payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Partner with Finance teams to support month-end close and respond to payroll-related queries.
- Support audit requests, compliance activities, and payroll reporting.
- Deliver a best- in-class employee experience through timely, clear, and accurate communication.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
- Contribute to ongoing payroll transformation projects, including UK payroll system implementation.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Relevant experience in payroll, specifically with Irish and UK payroll legislation and compliance.
- Payroll qualification essential, IPASS (Ireland) or CIPP (UK)
- Additional experience in EMEA and/or US payroll is a plus
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
- Experience working with payroll systems (in-house and/or outsourced environments)
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, large data handling)
- Strong understanding of: Gross-to-net calculations, Benefits in Kind (BIK) ,Gross-ups and payroll adjustments.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with experience handling employee queries via email and virtual platforms (e.g., Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
