Location: Dublin 6 (Ranelagh) – hybrid after trainingSalary: €20+ per hour (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary (3 months initially)
Osborne is delighted to be partnering with a professional membership-based organisation in Dublin 6 to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting a wide range of stakeholders.This role requires someone who is experienced, detail-focused, and able to work with discretion given the highly confidential nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including processing invoices, managing ledgers, and controlling credit and debt.Maintain accurate financial records and cash transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Prepare financial reports on outstanding balances and debt collection progress.
Liaise with suppliers and members, handling queries and managing expense requests.
Contribute to financial processes around conferences, events, and membership packages.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in an accounts support role with exposure to AP, AR, and reconciliations.Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets – Xero experience strongly preferred.
High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and with members.
Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
