About the Role

Based in Tokyo, you will play a key role in identifying and developing new investment opportunities from the Japanese market. Working with global teams across Europe and Asia-Pacific, you will engage with senior decision-makers and promote the advantages of establishing operations in a highly competitive international business environment.

You will also manage relationships with existing multinational companies and support their continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development
  • Identify and engage high-potential Japanese companies considering international expansion
  • Build a strong pipeline of investment opportunities aligned with strategic growth sectors
  • Develop long-term relationships with senior executives and key decision makers
Strategic Relationship Building
  • Engage with C-level leaders across technology, digital, and services sectors
  • Promote the advantages of establishing operations in Europe through compelling presentations and strategic discussions
  • Represent the organization across industry events, executive meetings, and business networks
Market Development & Promotion
  • Collaborate with international teams to develop targeted market strategies and value propositions for Japanese companies
  • Organize business delegations, executive visits, and investment exploration trips
  • Support companies through the investment evaluation and implementation process
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with international colleagues and government stakeholders to deliver high-impact investment opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry groups, business associations, and innovation networks

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated, internationally minded professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, strategic sales environment.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, business development, or strategic account management
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, with strong business communication skills in both
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience operating in international or multinational environments
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic partnerships
