The Opportunity

I'm currently working with a highly successful and fast-growing energy solutions company operating across the industrial and commercial sectors. This organisation is at the forefront of delivering innovative infrastructure and decarbonisation projects and is experiencing significant growth across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.

Due to a strong pipeline of secured work and continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major mechanical and electrical projects across the North West region.

  • The Role

You will take full ownership of M&E projects from initial planning through to commissioning and handover. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of M&E projects from inception to completion
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement, cost control, and commercial performance
  • Support commissioning, testing, and final project handover

  • About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within an M&E contractor environment
  • Strong electrical or mechanical background (electrical preferred)
  • Experience delivering industrial, commercial, energy, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial awareness and project financial management experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Full driving licence
