Role Overview
A Construction Worker is responsible for supporting building operations on-site, assisting tradespeople, and carrying out general labouring duties to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, loading, and moving materials.
Assist skilled trades such as carpenters, blocklayers, plasterers, and groundworkers.
Prepare and maintain work areas before, during, and after tasks.
Support concrete works including mixing, pouring, and finishing.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
Help with site setup, fencing, and access routes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the site.
Follow instructions from supervisors and site management.
Adhere strictly to all health & safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous construction experience preferred but not essential.
Valid Safe Pass
Manual Handling certification.
Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Desirable Skills
Experience in groundworks, concrete, or general building.
Familiarity with site tools and equipment.
Ability to follow drawings or basic instructions.
Working Conditions
