Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst (Risk & Compliance) to join their Detection & Enforcement Controls team. This global function is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to policy violations, compliance issues, and regulatory risks.The role will work cross-functionally to strengthen enforcement controls, ensure compliance with company policies, and protect customer trust.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and compliance issues, and provide actionable insights to improve policy enforcement strategies.
- Develop and implement detection & enforcement controls, maintaining high-quality documentation and reporting standards.
- Drive change plans that balance risk mitigation with operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reports and presentations on compliance and enforcement metrics.
- Collaborate with Policy, Legal, Regulatory, Customer Support, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into enforcement pipelines.
- Share best practices and support knowledge transfer across global teams.
- Lead and support complex, cross-functional projects, proactively removing roadblocks and enabling decision-making.
- Assist with maintenance and deployment of enforcement platforms and systems.
- Stay current on risk trends, industry standards, and policy enforcement best practices.
- Proven analytical skills with experience as a Data Analyst, Risk Analyst, or related role.
- Strong SQL and data visualization skills (Tableau, Excel PivotTables). Basic skills in Python/R or ability to build useful tools a plus.
- Understanding of policy enforcement, compliance, or trust & safety in tech, fintech, e-commerce, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including experience using LLMs.
- Experience working with engineering teams to implement controls and tools.
- Strong project/change management background (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Six Sigma certifications a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver executive-level summaries and insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in crowdsourcing, trust & safety operations, or global compliance programs desirable.
- High integrity with ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
