On behalf of my client in Cork City, I am recruiting for a temporary administrator for a 6-month contract.

Overall Purpose of the Role

To provide a broad range of administrative support to the team and the relevant Service Manager (Children’s or Adult Services).

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team and clinical services, including:

  • Preparing and formatting letters, reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and individual service plans; updating internal systems and maintaining both electronic and paper records; photocopying and scanning, distributing post
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of documentation in line with FOI and GDPR requirements
  • Organising client files in advance of clinics and appointments
  • Booking and scheduling clinic appointments
  • Processing and issuing consent documentation for new referrals
  • Providing reception and switchboard cover as required, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and directing queries appropriately

Requirements:

  • Experience in clerical or administrative roles preferred.
  • Proficient in using word/excel
  • Experience with minute taking desirable
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
