PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Scheduler to join a leading Cork-based Electrical Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the public sector, healthcare, and private industrial sectors throughout Cork and Munster.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of multiple electrical projects through effective scheduling, planning, reporting, and coordination activities. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Procurement, and Commercial departments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on programme.

A strong background in project scheduling, advanced Excel capability, and excellent organisational skills are essential. An understanding of electrical installations and construction project delivery would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules and trackers
  • Monitor project progress against programme milestones and deadlines
  • Produce regular progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates for senior management
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and site teams to identify risks, delays, and programme impacts
  • Track labour allocation, procurement schedules, and project deliverables
  • Assist with resource planning and forecasting across multiple projects
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting systems
  • Support commercial and operational teams with project data analysis and scheduling information
  • Ensure all scheduling information is updated and communicated effectively across the business
  • Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Project Scheduler, Project Coordinator, Planning, or similar role within construction, engineering, or M&E contracting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across several live projects
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Experience using project scheduling/planning software would be advantageous
  • Understanding of electrical installations or electrical contracting projects is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach
