About the Role

FRS Recruitment is exclusively seeking an experienced Stores Person for a well-established manufacturing company in Little Island, Cork. This is a standalone role with full responsibility for the maintenance store, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.

It’s a hands-on, independent position where you will manage all aspects of stock control, ordering, and database management, ensuring the maintenance team has the parts they need to keep operations running smoothly.

• Manage the maintenance store independently, reporting to the Engineering Manager
• Maintain accurate stock control and ensure essential parts are always in place
• Handle ordering and stock replenishment as required
• Receive, allocate, and log stock into the stores database
• Conduct regular stock counts and update records accordingly
• Work closely with the maintenance and process teams to support daily operations

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar stores role (manufacturing or engineering stores experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts
• Excellent IT skills with experience in stock management systems
• Highly organised with strong communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of the role

• Competitive salary up to €40,000 DOE
• Structured working hours (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
