Experienced Administrator - Medical Setting

Pay Rate: €17.04 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Rota Basis (8:00-16:30 or 9:00-17:30)

Are you an experienced Administrator looking to make a meaningful contribution in a vital medical environment? We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Administrator to support our busy team in Cork City centre.

This is a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced healthcare setting. You'll be working alongside a dedicated Clerical Officers, helping to maintain efficient administrative processes and high standards of patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• General clerical duties including data entry, scanning, filing, and telephone handling
• Supporting appointment and list management using PIMS (or similar systems)
• Liaising with medical and administrative staff to support patient flow
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Assisting with reporting and departmental communications

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
• Familiarity with PIMS and/or outpatient list management highly desirable
• Ability to manage a busy workload with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a rota-based role (must be available between 8:00-17:30)
• Ready to start in early October
