Skilled Construction Workers for Ballincollig
The Skilled Construction Worker is responsible for carrying out a variety of construction tasks on a new development in Ballincollig. The role involves supporting multiple trades, performing skilled site duties, and ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with site regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general and skilled construction duties on site
Assist with groundworks, concrete works, and structural installations
Support trades such as carpenters, steel fixers, pipefitters, and electricians
Operate hand tools
Assist with installation of services, ducting, and site infrastructure
Maintain clean and organised work areas in line with pharma standards
Follow site drawings, method statements, and supervisor instructions
Comply with strict health, safety, and environmental regulations
Work within permit-to-work systems on controlled areas
Skills & Requirements
Previous experience in construction or industrial projects
Safe Pass
Manual Handling certification
Experience on pharmaceutical or high-compliance sites (advantageous)
Good knowledge of site safety procedures
Ability to work as part of a team in a busy construction environment
Physically fit and capable of manual work
