Head Chef - Co. Cork

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef for a 5-star hotel in Co. Cork. Reporting to the Executive Chef and senior management, you will ensure the highest standards of food quality, creativity, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team with professionalism, motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Oversee daily operations and support the Executive Chef in achieving financial and quality targets.
  • Design and implement innovative menus while maintaining food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff to deliver excellence at all times.
  • Manage stock, purchasing, and cost controls effectively.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standard, with efficiency and elegance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and organisational skills.
  • A passion for fine food, with exceptional standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
